Introduction

At the very beginning, we hope sharing our useful experiences, insights of living and studying abroad for Chinese people who is interested in real Australian cultures and daily life. On the other hand, it can spread Chinese traditional culture and present situation to people who is interested in China.

Part 1

 

 

 

Inside, I cooked Chinese wolfberry stewed mutton and The Stewed Pear with Rock Candy which is traditional tonic diet in China. Food therapy is a very important part of Yang Sheng. They combine the effect of medicines and the taste of foods. Apart from nourishing and strengthening our body, soup also whets our appetite, improves our skin and regulates our digestive system.

Knowledge Point:

1.The Stewed Pear with Rock Candy can moisten the lung, smooth to breathe heavily and relieve cough as the traditional herbal cuisine. And the other one is suitable Good for the winter months.

2.Chinese wolfberry is “very early health”, people will soak it in boiling water its bubble water, boil soup or porridge in daily life.

3.The mutton soup can promote the body’s blood circulation, strengthen the cold-resistance，making the body feel relax and comfortable.

We have had good feedback from viewers. It is so exciting that I have gained little friendship from my DA. I feel grateful them sincerely-those helped me and encouraged my lovely person. For me, those were opportunities that came unexpectedly and which I was able to take advantage of.

 

Part 2

 

On a recent episode, we compared Chinese and Australian takeout. There are many WeChat groups like Wollongong ‘gourmet’ group and ‘help-each-other’group， by which we can order food and communicate with each other about almost everything.

In China, once online orders are placed, the platform sets a delivery deadline based on the distance between the restaurant and the user.And will show the location of the delivery driver, so an order can be tracked.Data analysis shows the average delivery time is 31 minutes. But in Australia, it always takes a long time to deliver. What’s more, most take away foods are fast food.It is not really accord with the dietary traditions of the Chinese people.

For most people, Chinese takeout means little white boxes packed full of sweet and sour pork and General Tso’s chicken. That not really Chinese…Therefore we chose the restaurant named ‘Yum Yu’, and ordered authentic northeastern cuisine—-Stewed chicken with mushroom and Fried Pork in Scoop.

Finally, we added an interview with the restaurateur.

Part 3

At present, we pay more attention to domestic app—-WeiBo. And our DA to be there is a high rate of growth. ” Design Thinking is defined as: An iterative and collaborative process that takes an empathetic approach to problem solving that is particularly effective when the issue at hand requires solutions that are innovative yet practical. ” (Chesson D, 2018) We cooked different cuisines to interweave various Chinese cultures in DA. There were other great comments—some funny, but overall really encouraging to hear so many varied responses.
